White Rock Creek Trail
Review: Part of the best paved trail system in the Dallas area, White Rock Creek Trail is a heavily used trail that extends from North Dallas to White Rock Lake. This trail segues through a green belt alongside White Rock Creek, avoiding street crossings allowing for a continuous ride. Very highly recommended!
Distance: 8.4 miles one way
Where is it?: You can catch the trail from multiple areas. The trail head is near Alpha and Hillcrest just north of LBJ Expressway at Valley View Park. You can also pick up the trail at a park on Royal and Greenville Avenue, or at White Rock Lake itself. Below is a link to Valley View Park, the ‘official’ trailhead.

Type of Trail: Concrete
Shade: This trail is mainly in the sun, although you do follow a greenbelt for much of the trail’s length.
Where to Park: Valley View Park is a great spot to start the trail, but you can also park at the SE corner of Royal and Greenville, or start at White Rock Lake and take the trail away from the Lake
